Classrooms of the Future by Dairomy Bolano

Classrooms of the future:

The proposal is to create a prototype highly ICT resourced demountable "clip-on" classroom for use throughout the year of 2050. The classroom will be able to be easily fitted out with advanced ICT, and to be installed rapidly, safely and cheaply within a range of primary and special schools in the borough, and potentially accessible to all others. It will be able to adapt and change to suit future scenarios and robust in technology and form. An opportunity exists to facilitate the use of advanced and developing ICT in an innovative school based environment, different and complimentary to current provision and representing a window on the future. This means that supporting and enhancing teaching, sharing of good practice and enabling widespread access to specialist teaching and learning materials. A literal and figurative vehicle for learning, disseminating new technology and stimulating learning across the borough - container for ideas- wire free, web and satellite connected, linking easily to the resources of local, UK and worldwide institutions. Everything in the class will be wireless. Instead of have a blackboard we are going to have the professor speak and as the professor speaks there will be a machine that copies everything that is being said and posts it on the board.

Also the way I see it in the year 2050 I think that classrooms will be more organized when it comes to snack time because they wouldn’t have to worry about making a mess. I say this because there will be robotic machines that will pick up after the children. When it comes to nap time the children wouldn’t have t worry about waking other kids up because once they wake up they will go to a different room and watch movies, while some of the other kids are still napping. I see that everything is going to be a lot easier in the future because of the different types of technologies.
